Seattle Spud Week
Potato Festival
Objective - A national survey found that potatoes are most Americans' favorite vegetable. The average American eats at least 50 pounds of potatoes per year. How can this fun, versatile food be celebrated?
Approach - Seattle Spud Week is a potato-themed festival that showcases the potato in all its forms. The event includes vendors serving potatoes in new and exciting ways (but also our favorite classics), potato-eating contests, fun merchandise and souvenirs, and more to express our love for this beautiful food.
Execution - Reflecting the versatility and voice of potatoes with fun colors, illustrations, and copywriting, Seattle Spud Week brings potatoes to life. The branding is shown across the website, festival guide, food trays and containers, and merchandise for the festival.
